Will Clubs please note that any correspondence for the League Secretary between the 13^th September and the 3^rd October must be sent to the Leagues Chairman.  The normal contact for Registrations, Fixtures and Finance are un-affected. 

The League apologises to Club Teams who did not have a Referee for the first game of the season, hopefully Graham the Referees Secretary will be in a position to rectify this as soon as we get the holiday period over and recruit more Referees. 

The first games of the season were met with some horrendous weather, it is imperative that Clubs who play on private pitches must check the state of their pitches on  Friday night as to their suitability and if doubtful let the appropriate Executive member know.  Telephone numbers: Pendle Council Joseph Cooney, 01282 661600 – 661611, Hyndburn BC 01254 356224 this only available from approx 4.30pm on a Friday, other numbers in the rear pages of the handbook.  All home Team Managers must make contact with the Referees on match days, don’t just assume the Referee will know were you are, the Referee needs to check boots jewellery etc prior to the game commencing. 

Graham Snowden mobile number for contact on match days only 07703  541175, no results must be left on Grahams mobile number, the landline is the only way of contacting Graham to leave match results.

Apologies for those Clubs who tried to e-mail the results in on the 2^nd September 2006, as a matter of urgency please be advised that the e-mail address for results will be: alangreenwood@adjfl-1.freeserve.co.uk the change is as a result of Freeserve being taken over by Orange and the previous e-mail address has been lost.

Just some reminders for your actions to your Managers:

Please take note that several Clubs have not sent in the player registration sheets, whilst I appreciate you have while the 19th August if any Club Team does send them in on the 19th the Team will not be playing the first game and any subsequent ones until the player registrations have been provided.

Any player registration that is found to have an anomaly will be returned to the Club Secretary and if presented on the 19th the player will not be available for any game until the clearance as been given by the Registration Secretary.

The e-mail facility for results will not be available on the following Saturdays:
16th, 23rd and 30th September, all results on these dates and any mid week matches will have to be phoned into the Press Secretary on 01254 395266

Any Club who as identified any mistakes, change of telephone numbers etc. must let the League Secretary have the amendments no later than the 26th August for distribution at the 31st August League meeting, and the Referees.

The Referee fees for the 2006/07 season are: Under 9s, 10s and 11s £9.00 per game, under 12s, 13s and 14s £15.00 per game and under 15s and 16s £18.00 per game, this is a correction from the handbook.
